[/news/qantas/index.html Qantas] has unveiled its new in-flight safety video which celebrates a century of the national carrier's history and its connection to Australia.
The airline spent a year recreating flight memories from each decade, including cabin crew members with mullet hairstyles from the 1980s, moustaches from the 1970s and a variety of past uniforms.
Qantas Group CEO Alan Joyce said the safety videos need to be engaging to ensure passengers tune in to watch.
One of the old-school uniforms featured a red beret, red top and red skirt combination
'It's really a tribute to a century of our people, the changing styles, and our innovation. The one thing that has never changed is our commitment to safety,' he said.
'Qantas has been taking Australians to the world and visitors will be able to quite literally walk through this journey and immerse themselves in a century of their national carrier.
'Qantas is now, and has been for the past 100 years, at the global forefront of aviation.'
The airliner was able to produce a bespoke replica of the lounge from the 1970s, complete with identical colours and https://informationterritory.hpage.com/unique-saree-hairstyles-for-medium-hair-length.html patterned fabric
A navy two piece suit was also one of the uniforms which was featured in the flashback video
Flight attendants who featured in the video had to wear wigs so they could look authentic to the era
